‘This has been a rewarding and fulfilling journey during such a difficult time. As my wedding stationery business ‘Laura Ritchie Designs’ was on hold for the entire year of 2020, I explored other creative outlets. I had no idea when I picked up my oil paints that it would lead to such an exciting adventure.’

Laura is a qualified Graphic Designer based in Surrey. During the lockdown in 2020 when her Stationery business went quiet,
Laura rediscovered her love of oil painting and has decided to become a full time artist.
Laura joined her local art groups in 2021 : Dorking Group of Artists, Ashtead Art Group, Leatherhead Art Group - and has
had a fantastic year attending workshops and exhibiting with them.

Laura has also found the love of painting Plein Air and has joined the Surrey Hills Plein Air Painters and the London Plein Air Group.
Along with painting with groups, Laura also paints in her studio and takes commissions.
